Consulting Historian

Mary Babson Fuhrer uses her expertise in primary source research to consult with museums, historical societies, schools, humanities organizations and heritage areas. Present or recent clients include the Massachusetts Historical Society, Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area,  Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities, Historic Newton, Lexington Historical Society, National Heritage Museum, and Lexington Public Schools, among others. She provides research and writing for exhibits and programs, presents at teacher institutes, and gives public lectures and presentations.

Mary will also schedule book talks and signings by request.
